If I close my web browser....does JSH still show me as "ONLINE"???

I have been chastised for not answering IM's or emails on JSH, at a time when I was not online .....

has this happened to you???

If it is anything like Myspace, it will still show you online for a few minutes. Myspace shows for at least ten minutes after you sign off.

Nope it an't happen to me.. but I do think you have to log out..

It has happened to me, I think that you have to actually sign out.

If you have high speed internet, even though you are off the site, you will appear to be on the site. Take the advice you were given by a few posters and make sure you log out. Wait unti you see that you are officially logged out.

Your internet connection doesn't matter. If you don't log off the site the server thinks you're still on. It would be as if you were sitting staring at your screen but not actually performing any activity on the site.

As far as I know JSH does not have an automatic log-off after some set period of time - in which case the site shows you as still online forever or until you come back on later then log off after that session.

Nahh... there has to be SOME kind of auto-log-off doesn't there??
