On the Beach

The night sky is filled and overflowing
With the stars so brightly shining
The moon is reflecting shadows of light
The waves are lapping up onto the sand
As we walk along hand in hand

We walk along the beach
To find a secluded spot
So we can lay our blanket down
And there in each others arms
We begin to become one

The privacy that we have
Allows us to share our love
As we caress each other
We slowly begin to undress
Taking our time

The anticipation is building
Knowing that soon we will be one
Fingers and hands exploring
Skin touching skin

You slowly enter me
Taking your time
Allowing the pleasure to build
For we have no desire to hasten our desire
For we want to take out time on this blanket we laid down

Giving to each other the greatest gift
Gazing in each others eyes
Our hearts, souls, and body entwined
Wrapping each other in security
We laid out blanket down

Snuggled in each others arms
We lay quietly
Content and happy to be together
Watching the stars begin to fade
As the moon says its time to start another day

Its time to dress
And fold up the blanket
Until another day
When once again
We will be back to lay our blanket down
