What was the most awkward moment of your dating life?
I have a talent for putting my foot in my mouth... when I was in grade 9 and started dating my first girlfreind in high school we had only been dating a few days and I thought I would call her to chat. As we were talking on the phone I could hear some water in the background, I thought maybe she was doing dishes or something so I asked what she was doing. she said "giving my little brother a bath", I chuckled and asked "ah ya, how old is he?" She replied "oh, he's 12" Before I could even stop to think about it ;I sort of blurted out "What, is he retarded or something?" -that little voice in the back of my head immediately asked if I was retarded or something. silence... and then "yes, yes he is. I have to go now". And that was the end of that, really too bad too , she was a nice girl and I usually dont even think like that.

I am thinking one of two things here.....way to go Grace and/or not your smoothest move slick. LOL! We all stick our foot in our mouth at one point or another....the more we talk the farther it slides down. Don't be so hard on yourself!

One time when I was in school I liked this girl and we were going steady. We had kissed a few times but it was only on the lips.
One day I called her house and thought I was talking to her, and it ended up it was her older sister, only I did not know at the time. So were talking and everything and she asked me if I liked to french kiss. So I asked Whats that. So she explained well thats where you stick each others tongue in each others mouth. I said yuk thats gross. Her sister then started laughing and told me who she was. I was so embarrased. My girlfriend never talked to me again after that

A few years back I had a date with a lady I had met, it was our first date. We had gone to a park (it was during the summer) and talked forever... we got along great, then we decided to go have lunch at a cafe'. We had a nice lunch and talked more, then she says to me "wanna see my house, it's not far from here?". I agreed and off we went in both cars (I followed her). Now before I go any further I just want to add that I had bought all new clothes just for this date, new khaki shorts, polo shirt, and shoes. I wanted to look nice ya know, so.... ok. She got out of her car and I did as well and followed her up the walkway, now mind you, I have on new shorts and maybe, just maybe I should have bought a new belt too, lol. Well she opened her screen door and I held it as she unlocked the main door, she walked in and I went to let the screen door shut behind me and walla... my shorts drop to my ankles, lmao. Not just started to fall but dropped to the floor... now she didn't even know this had happened until I hollered out "holy shnit", then she turned around, lmao. Wow what a surprise that was.
