I write with a thousand women on my mind
I'm a poetry whore but one of a kind
I want my words to sink down into the heart thats true
Someday i'd like to write for you and only you

I'm often asked so who is the lucky lady
when no one can see just how alone I really am
I'm just a man who loves to put emotions into words
these are the things that remain beyond my hands

The wind and rain beats down on one so strong
and the seasons change,but i've been standing all along
Through hardship and heartache,the courage to go on
is found through the will to face the world alone


And i would be a liar to say,i want to stay this way
because even I know how it feels to miss someone
but I want to know how it feels to be missed and needed too
and how it feels to be remembered by someone like you

words of love whispered

In the quiet stillness I lie
remembering the ecstasy

ringing in my ears

I have cried, now I must move on
courage it takes
to give up a love so strong
brave and true life does go on
there are a dozen who would love to have you

Let the wind blow, howl at the moon
scream your rage, release it all
just let it go
easier said than done
trust me, I know

Sweet relief will come
with the morning sun
the dew will dry
and tears are gone
wounds will heal
with each passing hour

Memories of love
and such sweet ecstasy
