now ive notice a trend in most older womens profiles, in many other dating websites. strikes me as funny. youll read along, and think, wow, this girl is great, then you read.. you must have a CAREER, not a job. hmmm, what the hell is the difference? this is coming from the same woman that has a career herself and needs no support. i guess it saves her from wasting her time with someone who has to borrow money from her parents at the age of 29, with whom he still lives. now, MY situation, is a difficult one. yes i do have a job. my career would be writing. though, i dont have time to expand the meager portfolio i could have, because im trying to re-establish my credit and take care of my two sons at the same time. its a daunting process. so, instead of holding out for a great career which could never happen, i found a JOB that pays all my bills and my creditors. the boys mother is no help, which is why my credit is a wreck, supporting 2 boys and a full grown woman who doesnt want to work, while going to school, can do that to you. anyways, i guess what im trying to say is, woman who have this in their profiles, they are potentially passing up they man of their dreams. a hard working, wanting to make things work type of guy. this is just a warning really, and an example of why they should think twice about avoid us that just have JOBs. their loss when someone finally sets their hooks in to us and lands the catch they missed out on...

An old quote comes to mind...

"If you're constantly disappointed...simply lower your standards"

Or, put another way...Just Lie!!!

hmmm, the way I see it, a career is what you like to do, a job is what you have to do.
frankly as long as I don't have to go dutch on the first date, I'm happy. drinker unless of course I'm the one who asked, then its my treat. How do you feel about McDonalds?

who should lower their standards?

just to say, i have higher standards. i want a woman older than me. because they are generally not like the crazy girls my age. done playing games, and dont want anymore kids. and yes, they have an income, someone i wouldnt have to support. and no one should have to lower their standards for me either. im just saying, no one should base personality on job and income situation. we all know people can make 100k a year, and still live paycheck to paycheck. im a year away from having only necessary bills.
