Was wondering about this just yesterday FSman. Saw an ambulance and remembered your post.


I have a good friend who's been an EMT for years. I'm sure you know this already but you'll be on "probation" in their minds for quite some time until they get to know you.

Just keep it light for a while and learn from the old timers. My friend tells me stories about new graduates who come in thinking they know all the newest and best stuff - they don't last long.

Oh, and be prepared for some SERIOUS practical jokes! The stuff she tells me about just kills me! I guess EMTs are a pretty ruthless lot.
