Anything about modeling agents? My daughter has an interview tomorrow and I need some advice on what is correct and not correct regaurding the interview... any advice at all would be appriciated..thank you

if they ask you for money up front beware.
normally they will set up some great 'photo shoots' what mom would say no to that?? but their prices are crazy. if they are really interested in your child, they will let you bring in your own photos. i learned that the hard way. good luck! |

Be careful of the scam. I took my daughter to an interview (Barbazon School Of Modeling) and when we arrived there were a couple of hundred people. Everyone that walked in was accepted if they paid the low low price of $2000 with an immediate down payment of $500. But what your going to could be totally legit so good luck.

I looked the company up they have a tagely # I saw pics of the studio and saw what other models they represent... but modeling school?

An interview is fine, but don't let them tell you she needs a portfolio which will cost you x amounts of dollars. If they are really interested they will do the portfolio with out charging you

well her interview went great, he does not ask for money up front he takes 10% from the jobs he finds her he wants to do a photo shoot next weekend witch is free this will be for him to determine if he wants to represent her or not. just so he can see if she can follow direction and how well her pics come out

Bright Eyes be VERY careful with her, even though you obviously already are doing so. NEVER EVER EVER let your daughter go anywhere without you around EVERY single second. Have a listen to 2much's warnings. She knows whereof she speaks. |

I will thank you. I did check him out he is licensed. And her photo shoot is tomorrow, so wish us luck. and I appriciate all the input from everyone. I will never let her be alone with anyone that is already a givin!!
