Dear diary.......do you think cows eat pine needles??? 
a cow may ingest pine needles from time to time as they do become air born an will land on grass an hay which a cow consumes a great ammount of , pine needles contain a pretty good source of vitamin C and would possibly benefit the cows diet , cows have 4 stomachs in which those pine neddles would pass .........bla bla bla.....
