Topic: Pick up trucks...

Have you ever noticed that the worst drivers are pick up truck drivers. Is there some kind of mind altering drug in those trucks that makes you think you are invincible on ice and snow? Help me out here, cause I see more pick up trucks in the ditches on the highway than any other type of vehicle. Just an observation =)

could be because trucks have a higher center of gravity than a car which makes them harder to control in bad weather conditions, wether they have 4 wheel drive on not

I have noticed here in NY that the worst drivers in snow all have SUVs..........you can tell because they are the vehicles on the side of the roads after the snow stops and they are cracked up against the medians.

Darn, and I was hoping this was about your favorite truck I have always wanted to have a 2007 black Dodge Ram Truck, Hemi included. But if I can't have that, a good looking guy driving one can be just as fun

Some people think SUV means you can, but doesn't mean you have control. Because you own one doesn't mean you can drive properly.

i had a full size 350 big ass chevy blazer and let me tell you that thing slid in the snow like crazy so not all truck or suv drivers drive like nuts in bad weather but most think that because the truck is heavier then the car that it has better traction and can handle the snow there for they drive like nuts!

Everyone in my town is a terrible driver..........except me!!! i know! it's not just one car going the opposite way on those one way streets it hundreds of them!

Its becouse the larger vehicle and terms like "snow tires", 4WD, and other such misleading frases give the driver a false sence of security.
