Is it just me or has anyone else noticed how rude people are about other people thoughts or feeling. What has happened to this place...it really isn't fun anymore. Maybe they should change the name from Just Say Hi, to I don't give a crap about anyone but myself. This place has really gone downhill.

Ive seen that lately too. Of course I havent been here long. Maybe poeple need to hit the report or block button more often. Is that even monitored? (blocked members)?

I have noticed that on some of the more sensitive topics people tend to get that way..I have really strong opinions about certain issues, but I'm not here to convert or debate, unless someone wants that and in that case its an exchange of ideas, not a war of words.
Overall, people here have bee pretty decent. I appreciate that.

Yea, we all have our hot topic issues, but there's a lotta freaks on here that just post bitterness and hatred all the time. Maybe they should venture out into the world, instead of going online.

I have been on here since 06 and really haven't noticed a change at all. There are some people that are nice and some that aren't. No differnce than in real life! Yea, we all have our hot topic issues, but there's a lotta freaks on here that just post bitterness and hatred all the time. Maybe they should venture out into the world, instead of going online. Even with the hot topic issues, though, there's no need for personal attacks or insults. It's entirely possible to argue without being argumentative or insulting. Dragoness and I went back and forth fairly strongly over the death penalty from very different sides, but I never felt insulted or angry. (Hopefully she didn't either!)

There also has to be a sense about what you post. You post a personal question looking for feedback, your going to get the good the bad and the ugly. Man up and take it, or dont put yourself out there.

I understand where you're coming from. But I just get tired of people being bitter and stupid, just because they can. I generally try and ignore it, but most times I'll throw something out to annoy the morons. |
