I get informed that i have mail on this site, but when i log on here it
shows that i have zero messages. any ideas of why this is so?

cause you need to email someone and they need to want to email you back

This can happen for two reasons:

- The user who messaged you deactivated before you came to the site to
read your mail.
- The user who messaged you was banned from the site before you came to
the site to read your mail.

Most likely, the user was banned because they were a spammer/scammer,
like the Russian girls that try to get you to send them money. We do
our best to prevent these people from being able to sign up on the site,
but despite our best efforts, they still sometimes get through. And
when we catch one, we ban them and delete all the mail they sent to
protect the users who were messaged.

We keep adding new systems to keep the scammers out, so hopefully the
problem will get better and better. But most likely, that's why you had
the problem you described.

I acadentally gave the wrong email on my signup how do i change it to
the real one?

ne body know why my email wont go through? they keep saying verify it
and i KNOW its right

Go to Mail > Settings and make sure your email is absolutely correct.
Then have your verification mail resent so you can remove that message
and we can make sure you will get emails
