That's just it. You can't. You can lust for someone you don't know anything about though. That's easy. Too many people confuse the two.

Love, in my opinion is simply this:

When you care for someone so deeply, that their happiness represents your happiness. When you are willing to sacrifice, if it will help them or make them happier. When any small thing can remind you of the person, and bring a smile to your face.

It's knowing that you would give up all of your worldly possessions if you had to, to remain at the person's side.

When you no longer have the slightest thought about if someone else might be better.

When a person is beautiful to you, no matter what condition they may be in.

When you are so comfortable with them, that you never have to even bend the truth, you share everything.


I think it can mean a lot of different things, to a lot of different people... but this is what it is to me.

Honey, let me tell ya that love at first site does exist. Saw the man I was going to marry through a window. 4 dates later, got on his knees and asked. we married. 28 honeymoon blissful years. 3 great kids that want what mom and dad had. Unfortunately for me the lord took him in 06/06.

Love at first site, yes, chance encounters yes.

It will happen if you open yourself up to it. Ive seen the end of the rainbow and damn if I don't get their again.
