How many People ever Met someone in real life over the computer not just from this site any site, and was it a weird experince? and did you meet them more then once?

I talked to her everyday for about 3 or so weeks, then she finally got the guts to meet up. We're going out this weekend again. I met her on JSH

i actually did once. It was a guy my age, who lived in the town over. I actually met up with him at a bar, so it wasn't too sketchy. We hit it off and hung out for about a month...then he turned into a complete jerk! So i kicked him to the curb!

I've met quite a few guys from online. Some turned out good, some not so good. None great...or I wouldn't still be single. lol

I've met 9 people from various sites (none from here), and 8 of them were catastrophes. The 9th is the best relationship I've ever been in, so you never know.

I also have met a few really nice ppl...had a nice time...but that was it...no reason of why I didn't want to see them again...just didn't....

others ...it was like i was interviewing....wished them well and went my way...

a few broken hearts....but I can't be all things to all ppl...

I would meet some one again.....but I would definitley go nice and slow....

I have met 4 people off the net. Only two were worth dating. I dated a guy for about a month, but he wasnt for me. The other we went out for a week then he stopped calling me. I am talking to someone now, hopfully it works for us.

The people worth meeting live across the fricken country.

One girl I was talking to (not through this site) lived down in Missouri. We talked for about two months, discussed meeting, but the chemistry wasn't there. She was nice and all, but it was just a friendly sort of thing. Then one day, 3 months into talking, she shows up at my work. I wasn't there at the time. I work at a hotel, and whenever I get in to work, I check my in-house list and familiarize myself with names. Lo and behold, here I see she checked in to my hotel! The clerk never thought anything because she didn't tell him her name! To make a short story long, I asked her to leave, told her I'd call the cops if she didn't. The whole thing was very creepy. So yeah, I met someone offline... LoL

Many... Some good...some not so good (I'm sure from both perspectives). It's just the roll of the dice.

Are you talking about meeting for a date or just getting to know people online then eventually meeting sometime?

I've met scores of people from various online sites. Some were just friends and we all got together here or there. Some were dates from sites like this.

One in particular I saw more than once or twice. We dated for a year or so then got married. Three years later we got divorced.

So does that count as an online dating success story or a failure??

Ive met quite a few people via the net......not from this site though since it seems to be based mostly in america.......

I went to Australia and met 4 of my friends there from Oz.......uhhhhhhhh had someone from Colorado come here....another guy I met cause he wanted to meet the one he fought on the net for 2 years with......hahaha was funny cause he was so nice to me and me to him.......too young though.....he was only 23.....ummmmmmm a weird guy....ohhhhhh geeeeez this could take awhile to remember.....

I don't think that where you meet a person determines how the relationship goes, it's what happens while you are together obviously. Sites like this just allow you to easily "block" the person if your not interested without the face to face hit-ons if you will.
