Topic: Beans and Cornbread | |

Beans And Cornbread Baby, we might not be, the kind of folk Who live on steak and taters, Beans and cornbread, ain't too bad Neither is rice and maters. When things get tough, I see a light I'll make sure we aren't without, I have ways, of seeing us through This, I have no doubt. I've been a survivor, most of my life I've always muddled through, I'm going to make sure, of a happy life Just to be with you. It's the little things that count That will help us to survive, I won't give up trying, to make you happy Even with a little surprise. Now I happen to like beans and cornbread I'm not hard to please, Besides that, they are rib stickin' Next comes, the grilled cheese. Now comes dessert, what a tasty treat Now, that we have been fed, Steak and taters, will come soon enough But for now, it's beans and cornbread. |

Beans and cornbread, steak and taters, flour and water for flapjacks.
Is all the same to me..served up warm with love Straight to you from me. I can cook them any way you want them With or without a tater. Serve them up in nothing but my apron, there does that make you feel better? |
