Darkness has its ways,
and it has hit me by surprise,
For all I see is darkness,
when I look around with my eyes,

Inside all the darkness,
I can see a candle flame flickering,
Well, the light must be pureness,
and the dark is deceit and trickery,

I don't understand why all this darkness
must be around my cloud,
but when the lightning hits, watch out,
for I'll be heard out loud,

I'm seeking one of the finest things,
that a man has ever sought,
I'm also seeking the purest thing
cause true love can't be bought,

I keep seeing the images
of the people in my past,
Now that I really stop and think,
I know my life's moving fast,

I've had a whole bunch of people
put me through all kinds of hell,
sometimes I want to curl up
like a turtle inside of his shell,

But then there is more darkness,
it seems I can't get away,
Maybe all the darkness will fade
if I think of the right thing to say,

But to who? For what?
I really haven't got a clue,
My mind, right now, is so screwed up,
I don't know what to do,

Guess I'll just kick back and relax,
cause that is the only thing I know,
Someday, maybe, I'll get in the stream of things,
but never go with the flow.




This is my yearbook poem. I wrote this a long time ago. I just thought

Well, I'm jobless right now, and I figured if I can't provide for my

Maybe later on when I get things in order, but for now, gotta do what I

Thanx. My life ain't bad now, except for the jobless part. It sure as
hell was when I wrote it though. It must have been about 8 years ago
when I wrote that. Even before my baby-momma drama!! I do appreciate it
though!!

ya happy! :) I wouldn't care if ya said it sounded like my poem was
