If you are not in tune with the folks around you you can get bored easily or be misunderstood completely. The lady talked about people being shallow. 100 % you are right. Unfortunately the Consumer driven USA forces people not to look further than their noses.

Many well educated Americans fall into the same trap of consumerism and forget who they are and what they are looking for.

For me mental disconnect and enthusiasm of my ex spouse with consumerism and my lack of it resulted in two different attitudes which eventually broke the marriage. And a good job too.

I've been single for 2 years because ive been locked up for 1.5 years for someone elses fault, he asked me for a ride and he told me where to go and all the sudden he started firing on an RV and what made me do time is that i drove him after it happened, but anyways with my job i travel sometimes so its kinda hard to find someone.
