Ya, you are only 18, and you got a lot of years to go. I'm twice your age. So far, there are easier times, and there are harder times.

Don't look for the story type love. From my experience love is like a wave and comes and goes. Like my mom told me, "You have to be in love with commitment."

Look for a good friend first, that will hold you through the future.

There is such a thing as being TOO emo. Relax. Like they said, you are only 18. You are just starting out. Walk before running, run before flying. Fly before you jump of the cliff. You have to learn how to use that hang glider first.

I totally agree. I was talking to someone the other day (some girl I liked) and I told her what was wrong with just being happy with your family, friends and pets?? Yea it's nice to have someone special in your life, but without one it's just fine. I've never had a girlfriend and I don't really care my life is fine as it is i'm 19 not 40.

Also, the mistakes of the past should not be put behind us. They are put of who we are.

Other people have to accept all of us, including our skeletons in the closet.
