When the sun rise over a dune and the wind blow sand in yo eyes, yo look
at yo buddies and cant even recognize. Bandana on our faces helmet on our head, black glasses on our eyes we only try to stay alive but how can yo survive when yo so far to paradise. Are they smiling, are they crying, are they breathing? Sometimes its like a nightmare, everything is in slow-motion, all yo section in action, gun blasting peeps swearing, friends bleeding. Lord have mercy for what I did, but he knows I did it 4 my kid, and If I burn in hell well... no peace no please just my piece and my fist always taking risk. Never retreat never surrender is the way of the soldier. Trust me cowboy yo dont want war busting shots to yo convoy, bust back order to attak and when you hear a crack!!!..... Yo wake up over the sunshine sand in yo vest, pain in yo chest, blood in yo face no more boots no more laces... A friend in yo arms that is light as a kite and then yo wait at night to drop a tear and then you can feel the fear. But are we doing this for a country? Hell no men for the money thats why were called Da Mercenay and we dont die we just regroup in hell... |

I am not disparaging him BigBay. It's his attitude that needs change.
Perhaps you should look up and read what he has posted on other threads to understand. Try General Discussion-mmmmmmmkay |

right on fury
I have spent alot of time with men of special forces and I know the attitudes...your is not one of them, your's is one of a want-tobe, the definition of a merc is one who fights for money, and maybe you fall under that heading if you're really out there but working for private companeys dont make you a soldger. So your ridding shot-gun for a bunch of civies, that don't make you a soldger! come and suffer the hardship of having to sleep in the mud durring mansoon sesond in the bush. I guess you couldn't cut it in the service of your country and got out...know you want to play soldger and get all the glory that gos with it....shame, what some ppl will do for attention. I serverd and I'm proud of of it...yet I don't go around this site bragging of my deeds... get a real life, |

Thanx Poison. He's right about the fact that I can't know where he's
coming from in that when I served we didn't the mess we have now. But what I can understand is that he wears the uniform of my country and does it a disservice. I apologize once more for his attitude. This is NOT the attitude of the Canadian military personnel at large. |

Sorry Bloody. Extreme conditions are extreme conditions no matter how
they are. Humping your load and keeping yourself and your team covered in any extreme is difficult. |
