Here's an gross but interesting fact...there is a type of mosquito that lays its eggs in your skin when it lands on you to suck your blood. Then the eggs grow and the larva stay in your skin and it creates a hole in your skin for the larva to breath. Then you have to put something over the spot that starves the larva of its oxygen. When you pull it out its about the size of a quarter.

When you pull it out its about the size of a quarter. It's called a bot-fly and I have a scar on my right calf from one. Very painful. |
