What is the difference between a Cerimonial Circle Casting and a Regular Wiccan Circle Casting?

Well, the main difference is how indepth you go...
think of it this way... there are 2 ways to set a table.. One - all the basic needs are set out (Reg Circle) Two - full blown table set as if Royalty was coming (Ceremonial) With a Reg Circle you are doing the basics.. but when a Full Ceremonial Circle is being done, you pull out all the stops. It not only adds to the sacredness, but you will find the energy raising has a different feel to it as well. Hope this helps Blessings! |

Actually it is because a wiccan circle is cast to hold in the vortex of energies as they are raised, and the cerimonial circle casting is to protect any one with in the circle. As well as more elabrate. |

If you are meaning High Ceremonial Magic type stuff, it is even more ritualistic, more precise, and very often uses variations on Christian imagery and concepts. The Wiccan circle casting has more variations and far different imagery. The non-wiccan, varous pagan circles are even looser and more off the cuff.
Just my two cents |

Which Goddesses would you call Upon for Justice? The Greek Goddess Themis along with her daughters Dike and Astraea and the Roman Goddess Justitia. The Egyptian Goddess Maat. |

Which Goddesses would you call Upon for Justice? That can go so many ways. All depends upon what culture group you are most comfortable with. |

If you wanted to do a Healing spell, what day, hour of day, astrological sign, would it need to be in?

If you wanted to do a Healing spell, what day, hour of day, astrological sign, would it need to be in? Whenever the need is there and it feels right, but that's how I do everything. |

Well a ceremonial circle, if we are talking of the same type, like the circles that are in many of the grimoires. The main difference would be the meaning of both. The meaning of a ceremonial circle was often to trap the entity. The meaning of the Wicca circle was is most often used to keep yourself safe, among many other reasons.

I would call upon the Egyptian Goddess MA'AT for Justis.

If you wanted to do a Healing spell, what day, hour of day, astrological sign, would it need to be in? Personally, if I were doing a healing spell I would do it during the wanning moon. The wanning moon is the best time for banishing spells which is what a healing spell is. I always do my magickal work at night because that is what I'm personally comfortable with. |
