You think Canada doesn't have ER's? We have long waits here too, my grandad waited 8 months for surgery for his adrenile cancer;^] Yep, and if he doesnt have insurance or cash he'll wait till the Cows come home! I never had cows myself!!  Exactly, but of course in this country if you're poor you don't matter;^] Oh please. The poor in this country are better off than ANY other country in the world. Where else can someone who doesn't work, get free health care, have a car, a place to live, cable tv and internet, all provided by the government? where the heck do you live because none of the non workers i know have free cable or a car or free health care (only for kids}.. and even if they live in subsidized housing they don't get a free ride because there is a cap on how low the rent can go.people need to get a clue.the only people who get the free perks are in jail. I think he meant the disabled population recieving SSI or SSDI. We do get health care, but we certainly don't get free internet, cable or cars unless they're donated to us which would have little to do with government and taxes. Inmates don't get much of a free ride either tho, whatever "perks" they do get is far outweighed by the general life that comes behind bars;^] |

Whatever happened to Teddy Roosevelt republicans? Seems to me they've only gone downhill since Taft took office, though Reagan was good at taking credit for other peoples work. But where are the TR republicans of today? I wonder, if TR ran today would be accused of being a "bleeding heart" liberal?;^] they turned into john kennedy democrats but now they are independents |
