In a relationship between a man and woman where we consider ourselves equals.. Are there expectations of gender chores, jobs, responsibilities?

I don't believe so. In a relationship you are one and work as a team. Or has that changed over the years?

I guess it all depends on the situation. Like between to housewife, and a working class woman, or a homedaddy or a buisnessman. Who does what when and where. Maybe a chore list or something?

We claim to be equals. This is not the same as being equal. At the same time, equal does not necessarily mean the same. In society, it is hard to claim that there are not expectations for everything. I'm not quite sure what your question is trying to get at here, so it is a bit hard to respond less broadly.

I grew up in a household where the man did all the chores outside and fixed what was needed to be fixed and the woman did all the chore inside of course the garbage was done by she placing it outside the door and he taking it away. The woman also was the money handler cause she shopped for all the things and paid the bills. She raised the kids and he worked at a job.

I maybe wrong for saying this but I wouldn't mind it being 50 / 50, going both ways so it comes out as a team in the end of it all.
But that's just my take. |
