I wrote this poem to my ex after we separated. This is also the first poem that I had ever written in my life.

"ENDEAVOR"

You are my friend
You are my girl
I gave you my hand
You gave me the world

I made mistakes
I broke your heart
Whatever it takes
We must restart

Without you I'm lost
Without you I'm weak
Without you there's chaos
The future looks bleak

I need you here
I need you now
Please have no fear
We'll make it some how

I loved you then
I love you now
Through all that has been
I don't know how

I've changed my ways
I ended that phase
I'm in this maze
I'm in a daze

Please return
And stop this burn
Please I've learned
Please I've turned

I loved you then
I love you now
I'll love you forever
We can make it through this endeavor
