Here I go again, talking about marijuana. Haha.

I've had a lot of issues throughout my life.
When I was a child, I saw many psychiatrists.
I was diagnosed with clinical depression, social anxiety disorder, severe, if not violent, panic attacks, and also the infamous ADHD.

I was taking a lot of medication when I was younger.
The last med they had me on was Prozac, and I was only 11.

For years, I denied that the problems were real, even though I was dealing with them every day of my life.
My grandmother said it was hard and a little scary to raise me.
However, I came out ok. I accomplished a lot, and my family is very proud of me.

I started smoking weed when I was 16.
Originally, it was to escape life's problems and to get high.
As I get older, I am starting to realize that the occasional smoke is actually healthy for me on a mental level.

I tried to take meds again about 4 months ago after I had asked my grandmother to tell me about my childhood and what I was diagnosed with.
I tried Celexa for a while. The effects were good, but after a while it did a number to my body.

My body has always had a weird reaction to meds.
I just can't take them.

I've found that it actually helps me more to smoke a little weed every now and again to even me out.
Sure, smoking may make me a little unmotivated and it may make me a little lazy, but it keeps my healthy mentally.

So, as long as I do not abuse marijuana, I think I should be ok.
Oh, and I might need to seek more counceling eventually.

I think I'll be ok!
When I smoke, it is in my own house. I try to have a mature view on it. It also helps that my neighbors all smoke as well.
happy

Dude!! drinker smokin smokin drinker

I know for sure that the occasional toke keeps me sane.
I've been in situations where getting high has helped me maintain a positive attitude.

Weed is like any drug: use it wisely and it will be your friend; abuse it and it will f*ck you up big time.
I've been there.

It is amazing that something so trivial as marijuana can be illegal. Oh well. I am not complaining either which way.

Funny thing about it is it i not the trivial part that makes marijuana illegal, it is the profit of those marketing the procud. If it were legal the socila structure making the profits from illegal drug use would hurt them.....huh

Of course. Marijuana is very beneficial to the mind and body.
But there's so much information out there, both true and false, that speak of how bad it is and how good it is.
Information is great... but you only truly know when you finally do it for yourself.

That commercial of the girl getting hit was awesome!
But yes, I agree.
I've driven under the influence a whole hell of a lot.
It makes me, if anything, a hell of a lot more careful.

I agree every once in awhile it is beneficial to the mind, but as has been said abuse it and it will hurt more than help. Marijuana has no proven medical side effects (aside from the obvious cancer threat from the smoke, no different than cigarrettes), it has also been proven to be beneficial for numerous diseases that are at this point incurable. The problem is that it is difficult to research THC further with its illegal stamp, luckily we have several states that are pushing to reform marijuana laws. Which reminds me, I just found that marijuana kills commercial last night...funny commercial haha.

There are still no real reports that smoking marijuana alone is going to be just as deadly as cigarettes.
And yes, because of the stamp, it is taboo to run more tests on marijuana to truly understand how deadly or beneficial it really can be.
and that is all we've got; assumptions.
I will listen to what anti-smokers have to say, and I will listen to what people who smoke have to say.
I will listen to what health experts have to say, and what politicians have to say.

But, when it comes down to it, the majority of their information is assumptions, and perhaps experience.

I will never look down upon Marijuana until I have substantial evidence that it really will kill me.
I will also not make weed out to be this miracle worker that can save lives.
