Anyone else have problems posting here? Not sure why, but somehow when I posted here a few minutes ago I felt like I violated the spirit of the poem and the reasons for which it was written. Believe me, I realize that what I write is mediocre at best. But it's 'true'. And somehow I feel like I'm being untrue posting it. Anybody else experience that?

If it's your creation have some pride. I wrote a poem for a girl I liked earlier and was proud to post it

not really sure what you are trying to say but, i
would keep posting. it does not matter what anyone else thinks about it if it is what you want to say. expression is subjective at best. there is a curtain beauty in all expression weather it is in song, writing, movie making it does not matter. just put it out and open your mind to see all it is worth and maybe you will learn a thing or two about yourself as well.

Think maybe I just need to stay away from those that are so personal. Maybe I'm just not ready to post those just yet.

lol.. it's not the critics. It doesn't matter to me if someone else doesn't appreciate it. It's how the posting of it affected me.

We all may feel like that at times, but understand that when you speak in terms of a spirit of poem or words, you acknowledge that it has a life. At least that's how I see it. Though you may feel untrue to it's spirit, all life wills to live and breathe.

Whether you're a good writer or not, something from you has given life to the words and what's a better way to pay tribute to those feelings trapped in words than to give them life and set them free, so that they may grow and spark new life on their own.
