SADIE , WHEN THE TIME FOR YOU, TO GO WAS NEAR.
I BELIEVE IT WAS ONE OR THE HARDEST THINGS TO BARE.
FOR EVERYONE KNEW THAT YOU HAD A HEART OF GOLD.
YOUR LOVE FOR BRAD IS WHY YOU SAT THERE SO BRAVE AND BOLD.
AS YOU CAME UP TO EACH OF US AS IF TO SAY YOUR GOOD BYE'S.
YOU WALKED AROUND SO PROUD, WITH YOUR HEAD HELD UP HIGH.
AS IF TO TELL EACH AND EVERYONE ONE OF US THIS WAS THE DAY.
THAT YOU WOULD RECEIVE YOUR WINGS, AND THEN WOULD FLY AWAY.
YOU HAD YOUR REASON'S, WHY YOU HUNG ON THESE LAST FEW YEARS.
IN ORDER TO HELP THE ONE THAT HELD YOU IN HIS HEART SO DEAR.
YOU WENT TO EACH AND PLANTED BIG DOGGIE KISSES ON OUR FACES.
GLADLEY ACCEPTED THEM,KNOWING YOU WERE GOING TO A SPECIAL PLACE.
IT TOUCHED OUR HEARTS, TO WATCH YOU THAT DAY YOU HAD NO FEAR. SADIE, YOU
WENT TO SLEEP AS WE WATCHED YOU THROUGH OUR TEARS.
WE ALL MISS YOU, YOU SHOWED US ALL A VERY SPECIAL KIND OF LOVE.
YOUR'RE IN OUR THOUGHTS AS WE LOOK UP TO THE HEAVENS ABOVE




THIS WAS WROTE FOR A VERY SPECIAL FRIEND OF MINE BACK IN SEPTEMBER WHEN
HE HAD TO PUT HIS BEST FRIEND DOWN DUE TO CANCER. THE WORDS TELL HOW SHE
ACTUALLY ACTED THE VERY DAY THAT THIS HAPPEN. SADIE WAS ONE OF A KIND!!

I had to put down my "Wolfie due to heart worms,
and congestive heart failure,,,

cried for weeks after...still do...

*sniff,sniff,got tissue?*

I do very well understand it was the first time I had ever seen a dog
put down and hope my last it was one of the saddest moments of my life
for Sadie was a very special one she had never licked me in the face
till that day and boy did she give me a bath lol

Gurly this is such a loving tribute to Sadi, she sounds like a sweet dog
I would have loved to know

i feel for your friend txs. a friend of mine just had to do the same
thing and she was devastated. being allergic to all furry or feathery
animals i never had to go though that but i've lost many friends over my
short years so i know how it feels. my heart goes out to you both sadie
and pepsi.
