Seriously, is a dictionary a foreign object for todays youth? Taxpayers spend millions of dollars on educating our children, and where does it go?
Seriously, if you are trying to tell others about yourself, at least take pride in doing it. If you are not able to speak English, what does that say about yourself? |

I tend to cee iliteracie and speling erorrs all ovar this sight it makes me crazee and i cannot underestand why so many peeple cant simplie uze a spelcheker. Their has been a deckline in intelligance ovar the yeers and i blaim it all on the kurrent edukational sistem in this kountrie. HONEY..you spelled fantastic wrong..lmao!!! where was your spelling and grammar check at the time????...lol It was intentional. That is also my yahoo messenger handle. Obviously captainfantastic was taken. |

my typing skills are rubbish ...so i apologise for any spelling mistakes lol when you're typing something in your profile a red line will appear if something is misspelled and if you move the cursor on top of the word and right click it will give you a list of words that it thinks you are trying to use and you just pick the right one!....Ta da!....Sometimes though if the word is spelled too wrong then you have to keep trying with different combos until it gets the one you are really trying for.... I don't have spell check on this site so I mess up sometimes too. I don't think we are here to learn how to spell or have our grammar checked anyway. Do you??????? |

There's nothing wrong with typos or difficult spelling...I'm just talking about common 2nd grade-type words hear vs. here...the biggest LOOSER...quite vs. QUIET, etc....to me this appears as lazy and uncaring...

There's nothing wrong with typos or difficult spelling...I'm just talking about common 2nd grade-type words hear vs. here...the biggest LOOSER...quite vs. QUIET, etc....to me this appears as lazy and uncaring... I must admit that the Quiet and Quite confuse me all the time....lol something about 7 grade English when my instructor started putting up all the words that looked or sounded alike but meant different things....well, I was smoking way too much herb then too....lol |

I'm not sure what the obsession is with spelling and grammer. I know that I make typing errors and really, half the time could careless. I do think that it becomes a problem when you have no idea what someone is saying, but just picking people apart isn't a good thing in my opinion. I think that some people have a harder time expressing themself through a computer and hammering on them for mistakes will probably make it harder for them. JMO Probably doesn't count for much, but there it is.
