I just got an email that said that I had 4 mutual matches. When I logged on there was only one. Why does this happen? Does anyone know?

Three of them are the shy, strong, silent type? It happens to me, too. I have no idea why....

You had four, but when three looked at your profile they went "oh, ****" and backed out, but the email was already sent? I'm joking of course... I have no idea.

i have no idea it does not work well,i have 6 and when i send a email they will not send one back.just post and talk to the people if you like the way they talk email them.i cant keep up with the emails now.i need to take a day off to catch up

I just got the same email, saying I had 4... and I had 12. Feel free to take 4 from me.. I'm not using them at this time.

Does the email say you have 4 mutual matches, or that there are 4 people waiting to meet you?

If it says there are 4 people waiting to meet you, that means that 4 people have said "Yes" or "Maybe" to you in Mutual Match, but you haven't rated them back yet. To see if you are a match, you need to go to "Search", then "Mutual Match", and start rating profiles. If you click on "Yes" or "Maybe" to someone who also rated you as "Yes" or "Maybe", you'll both be notified that you are a Mutual Match.

If the email says you have 4 mutual matches, and you only see 1 listed, then that's a bug and we'll look into why that is happening.
