she’s not alone on most nights she still wakes up lonely her pride gets the best of her strangers the rest of her sometimes no one wins these fights… he caught of glimpse of her - last night just the way he remembered her she was walking away like she did that last day somehow (to him) that just seemed right she'd find her way back if he could he’d probably go back if she would but it’s hard to cross time when it’s all on the line they wonder if they should… they substitute warmth - for love it’s an end with no means nothing ever gets settled just the distance in between - now, they'll never go back for the good though it’s still on their minds and when it’s all on the line pride pushes them through time yeah it's so hard to cross time when you know it’s so lean nothing ever gets settled just the distance in between |
