I didn't read the thread all the way through, just bits and pieces. I
think people have a certain image in their minds of what they want their
partner to look like and have ideas in their minds of the perfect
relationship. It all stems from being raised on fairy tales and all the
movies we have watched over the years. Our expectations are to high.
There are no perfect people, no mr or mrs right. We also have programmed
ourselves to fear rejection and build unconcentiously a wall that even a
friend cannot cross. Humans are complicated, all of us individual but
our basics are alike. In a relationship we argue because we don't think
alike and we shouldn't think alike. We are who we are, programmed by our
raising and society. When we come to terms with overcoming our fears and
that life is not a fairy tale and life will not always fall together in
the way we want, then you can have a relationship with someone. Are we
players or will we become one from being on this site? Only if you want
to!
