I don't mind if the person seems brighter than me, but if they don't seem intelligent they don't really have my interest. To me, brains are more important than looks.

intelligence is attractive as long as they don't flaunt it. If its just someone who gets things and you can have intellectual conversations with its great. Succinct and directly on topic, addressing the scope of the answer...FTW! |

Intellect MUST be there for me. I am not talking having discussions on rocket science, etc. but at LEAST an "intelligent" conversation! Yeah I agree. I should clarify I just meant someone who is open to learning, and good at expressing thoughts or ideas. Intelligence isn't necessarily about knowing formulas or memorizing material. My working definition of intelligence is someone who can reason well and have a coherent conversation regardless whether it's their expertise or not. BINGO! Now you're talking a woman I can be interested in!

Intelligence is hot. So is being a deep thinker. I don't even waste my time with girls who are like "What? Huh? I don't get it."

right there with ya brother!... but arm candy sometimes just has to be what it is. Nah, "arm candy" not my style. It's either "real" with me or not at all. Not saying any guys are wrong for wanting that...to each his own. But I simply can't handle no intellect to talk to on a decent level. It's like going to a strip club for me...why? I have seen thousands of T&A's .. big deal. Like askin a gynocologist if he/she gets excited when they see a vagina .. most likely that answer will be NO! 
So maybe age/experience plays a role here too .. and I'm just an old fart!

I think arm candy is something you just want to try once and have a little fun with. I don't think a decently intelligent guy could have a good relationship with someone who is really pretty but really dumb.

well i think smart ness dose not matter just as long as you hot for each other and can talk with out getting in a fight because some times when it comes down to being smarter than your bf or gf it can lead in to an argument
