 randy take some advice from someone who has been online looking and finding weman since 95..i have been to 740,000 diff chat rooms..i have over 420,000 friends...all you can do is have fun..online and take it one step at a time....friends ..first...lots of chatting..then ..phone...then meet in public place..then who knows from there..follow?

Just once I wish some people would get real on here ... As with every other "room" I came here just to kid around thinking, "Why would anyone come to a place like this to find love in a group of other obviously problem-inundated relationship-handicapped people?" It's like dealing with an alcoholism problem by going to a bar! Like you I wished they would get real; now I think the problem might not have been theirs but rather my own jaded & cynical view. I've NEVER wanted to meet anyone on one of these sites. Now . . . we'll see. However, if anyone sees me here with 10,000 posts and I'm no better off, do whatever is necessary to ban me from the site. Also, if I start posting poetry, somebody please just shoot me! |

You see , what gives most people away of not being real about what they are looking for , is that when you send them an email or friend request they add you as a friend but never look at your profile or never even reply to an IM or an email... not all are like that , but most are .. even with that said , I know I will find my love ..... Randy im kinda use to it its more like they dont see you as dat guy for them even if you show your worth to know it does take some chemistry , but yea they should at least reply back and also stop responding and playin games if they not really interested |

I think there's a time to be serious and a time to sit back and have fun. Making people laugh really gets their attention. I get WAY more mail about the funny stuff than the well-thought-out hyperserious topics.
And if you can't get some amusement from the sheer inherent absurdity of the whole on-line dating process, then you might not be in the right place.... |

I have a great sense of humor, am serious about finding someone, and after a few mistakes am starting to "get" people.
What I have found, Randy, is that many people haven't taken the time to really KNOW what they want...they just bounce from relationship to relationship without resolving issues from the past. Unfortunately, then those of us who really want to develop a solid, uplifting, satisfying relationship end up in that situation it is frustrating, painful, and disappointing. Knowing what you want, and what they want too, upfront can make the experience much better. As always, it comes down to good ole communication!
