Well my opinion.
Yes as a matter of fact shocking as this may be, I have an opinion. I look to her demeanor, at least as best I can, and will either play the shy card to show the compassionate approachable side of my character, or I will be grandiloquent and tell her that she has been blessed this day with my presence, and her search is over. Either way, it all depends on what time of day it is as to either approach working, as I have said in the past you cant do anything that the first 3 seconds does not decide. Now get over here and sit on my face and tell me that you love me…

... Like it or not , dating is essentially a big game. A good 'poker-face' can only be a benefit. THIS is why I'm still single and dateless I guess. I just refuse to play a "game". I know I'm outside the norm with this but after thinking and talking about it with friends I've decided I'm just not going to dance that dance. I'm not going to pretend disinterest when I'm really fascinated. I'm not going to wait a proscribed number of hours or days before making the second call. I'm not going to date someone I'm not really interested in just to make myself look "dateable". I've seen those "secrets of champion pick-up-artists" and they amuse me. Those twerps pretend to be real men and by putting on the act they manage to get into some women's shorts. I'm not impressed. OK, so I'm the odd one out here. I'll just wait to find the right woman to join me out here in left field. |

Well maybe I should restate what I already said. I did ask a woman out that I worked with that I thought was rather attractive but every time I went to get her number since I was more worried about trying to get the balls so to speak to ask her out, then when I finally asked her out she didn't say no at all but I went back to get her number and was given the run around and before I knew it she left a week or two there afterwords. I would have taken a bigger tip if she would have said no instead. So I guess that is why I really do not bother any more with asking any other woman out, I guess I just don't like getting the run around or not hearing the rejection so fast as I would like or have wanted to. Either way if some people could be up front and honest then run around the truth and not say one way or another it would be nice. Man, if that picture is really you. . . Wait, first, when I read your the voice in my head was growly gravel like one of those wrestlers. So, anyway, if that pic is you (and I'm a tough fightin' SOB mind you) then I'll agree with whatever you have to say. Buddy. . . friend of mine . . . Homey, where ya been? Well I use the term "game" too but what I'm referring to in the previous post is pretending to be something I'm not. Feigning disinterest or giving the impression of wealth or creating some "bad boy" image or any other acting roles. I know a lot of people consider that simply part of the attraction process but I don't really understand it. It's flawed thinking by my reasoning and I don't play. Then again I'm an odd duck in many other ways so why not with that too? |
