I know this might be a boring topic...someone else had a similar topic....but what the heck.

I met a woman in a chat room on Yahoo....we talked for over a year in the chat room and on the phone.......knew each others info....talked every night on the phone and was going to meet in a month....we have seen each others pic and did cam...no sexual cam...but we knew everything about each other......BUT.........she couldnt give up chat....she'd be in there all times of the night talking to everyone...men and women...we were supposed to be exclusive to each other... but her chatting to everyone really got to me........it was very very often....did me in...she made it a part of her life....anyhow...I ended it and was thinking....did I over react????

what if she was just talking movies or music with random people cuz she was bored? maybe she's an insomniac.....

then again you don't know what they were talking about, she could have 5 other guys just like you hanging on her every word.....

If the chat room is more omportant than you......you did the right thing......

Did ya ask her what she was chattin about? I chat when I'm extremely bored too. There is a difference between chattin and being flirtatious with everyone you should get a clear defination of what she feels she is doing chatting.

well dante thank you for the reply...I did see what she was chatting about and in MY opinion it was very flirtatous...when you sit in chat at 2 in the AM.....nothing is about chatting about the weather...my opinion....and the PM's ...the private messages she'd get would not be shared with me....so I said bye bye

I even sent her a 350 dollar round trip tic to come see me...as she wanted to......but now that I called it off...she won't send it back....does she have a right to send it back or is it hers technically

for one u never met her in person yet.... so she wasnt wholey "yours" for 2.. u dont even know what would of happened after u met..for 3 it is not choosing chat over u when in fact "u" arent even with her meaning in person....lots of people chat or game when they are bored..... i waited to meet someone long distance once.... then when met it wasnt there at all shocked me... but from now on i would go on with my normal life till someone is "really in in my life"

buttons you are exactly right...to think someone would be able to restrain themselves from entering chat as we talked for over a year probably is ludicrous...my gut feel was she was always a flirt in the chat room and my instincts were correct
