---|---|
Sounds of the Night We just met tonight, Mutual desires were sedated, Neither can know today, If fantastic pleasures are awaited. It is a romance not lost, It was neither desire nor greed. Not a long romantic night, Though we both felt a need. Perhaps in the future, Over your satin smooth skin, Perhaps I’ll be closer, And something can begin. But first a candle lit dinner, To test our might and will. There will be champagne on ice, Our inhibitions left to chill. A fire in the hearth, Will be our only light, As we hold back the urges, And passion fills the night. Caressing your hair, A sensual massage designed to please, your breathing will grow light, with a pacified tease. Our lips would finally meet, Oh so tender and hoping, Our tongues begin to intertwine, Searching and groping. My fingers trace, On your neck moving to your spine, Awakening nerves of pleasure , A pleasure divine. Clothes gently whisper as they fall to the floor, Bringing pleasure in the skin it shows, I would be in no rush, no hurry, I love to tease it slow. A soft trail of kisses, On the soft backs of your knees, Your body would be aching, In its eagerness to please. By the light of the fire, Our bodies mesh in an ancient rite, Listen as the moans of our pleasure, Become the sounds of the night. |

ahh, what a way to drift easily into a romantic mood. You have a way with words and the picture you paint with them is better than a box of chocolates and watching a chic flick on TV. LOL

Better than the box of chocolate and movie, does not mean you should leave them home. And how did you know dark chocolate was my favorite? I look forward to reading more of your poetry.
