Time.....

Walking down the steps of time.
Pondering my existence, wondering why.
I saw an image of my life.
A frame of time that once was mine.

I was young a happy soul.
Then came death and I grew old.
Sadden by this frame of time.
I took another step and cried.

And with each step that I then took.
Lead me closer to this book.
A book of stories, tales of hate.
Ones my past helped create.

Yet step by step I still stand.
Waiting for death to take this man.
But I'll still walk I never stop.
