Several of us are wanting to have regional JSH intro parties set in agreeable public locations where groups of JSH people can meet in a safe and fun environment. Anyone interested can add their names to this list and suggestions for places and times that are possible so we can come to a mutual agreement for all. Remember: JSH friends do not let JSH friends drink and drive, so keep that in mind for the gatherings.

That is why the "GATHERING" in july is at my home & a 2 day event. Lots of floor/deck/yard/patio to sleep on.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. I have room here also. I was also trying to get a regional thing going here because not everyone can get out there. I would like to but I have a symposium then. Blasted! Would love to meet you all out there. I think it is very gracious of you to do so. Alot of good people going to be there and want to help make it a success! I LOVE THAT.

There should be one around the Atlanta area... preferably on the north side, since that's probably the safest side...

Well Passiespel and oldsage I am from another site where we did get togethers. Actually I hosted one of the first ones, and then it prompted others to do some regional ones too. It was a blast and kicked off a whole series of meets.


Regional ones are better for the most part because they are more doable for people considering schedules, families and finances.

They had talked about having a huge one in Vegas right when I joined that site, but it never materialized and so when I started meeting a person here and a person there, we figured the first regional meet should happen here too. LOL

Whatever ways work ... just DO IT!


ps .. Iowa and Indiana aren't THAT far apart are they?

No Iowa en Indiana are close enough...Ohio Kentucky Michigan Midwest Region.

8-10 hr drive is about it.

Would be nice to have one east, midwest and west. Maybe Philly area. Already have Iowa on my agenda. Can't wait.
