I received a warning about scammers and take partial exception to this bit:

If someone asks you to visit their "webcam" or go to another site that's a "webcam" please ignore these scammers and report them to us. We are in no way affiliated with these scammers and work hard on banning them daily.'

I have had scammers who want me to go to a paid site with webcam to 'get to know me safely' but I know this is a lure to get men constantly spending on their webcam NEVER actually meeting the person.

However, I always ask the 'lady' ASAP to go to Google Chat so we can video call to prove we are the person in out photos.

So this suggestion from Mingle will work against my request to get video call proof.
Of course, AI can now fake video calls.

Today I had a scammer on G Chat send what was obviously a camgirl video with the sound turned down!
I blocked 'her'!
Be wary guys (and girls)...reverse image search all photos and, ideally, meet in person.

Before chatting or going to WhatApp, I always run their photos through `Yandex`.

Yandex is a reverse image search which it tries to match the photos directly, and it's free.
It will list every location it finds the same photo and all the different resolutions you find them in.
It doesn't Guess like the now AI infested Google or Bing searches and it doesn't store your private data.

If you only get similar results, I search for an identical face.

This is a useful extra search, scammers use fake/stolen images alot.

A positive match with a scammer means:
The photo sent are often stolen from a long list of adult websites or reused across many classified ads under inconsistent names.


If they pass my Yandex investigation, I follow up with a Facebook search.
If I can find a face/profile on Facebook matching her correct name, that helps validate her.

Don't use Google image search, it's useless now with AI.

If it looks too good to be true, take extra vigilance.


My checklist is this:
- Does not complain about or ask for money.
- Does not have stolen photos or can be identified as a legitimate person.
- Is easily willing to voice/live video call.
- Is willing to meet in person in a populated, safe public place.
- Does not exhibit red flags which could lead to problems later.
- DO NOT get baited into sexting in text/video. Don't - you will get blackmailed and harassed.



However:

I just met a friggen beautiful girl on Tinder - and I suspected her of being a scammer.

I originally swiped left on her 4 times over the year because she looks like a model, looked too good to be true, and sounded too good to be true.

After resetting card stack one last time, I decided "why not", swiped right.

I layed out what im looking for right off the bat, she passes Yandex search, didn't ask for money, didn't bait me.

I found her face matching her name on Facebook, and none of her photos were anywhere on the net.

After some chatting she told me I'm different and decided she wants to formally enter into a relationship with me.

The crazy thing is she is stunning but humble.
I think I finally got the dice rolled in my favor and I have even met her sister.
