Staring in the mirror
You contemplate the ways to die
Impaled upon the spear
You justify your suicide
Spread your wings as darkness falls
Soar on currents across the sky
Close your eyes as the Reaper calls
And feel his scythe cut through your side
Hear the shadow lover call
and heed his glistening lie
Feel the songs of lunar halls
Forever tugging at the tide
Free yourself from earthly chains
And hear the contented sigh
Die alone out in the rain
And seek the infernal ride

good wording, bad subject, suicide is never a consideration, there will always be better days

Days are good for me now, most of these are old poems lol

This is really good.
I reall really like the
imagery and emotion in this
one..and the rhyme scheme works
very well, also.

...but I don't think that would quite justify ME committing
suicide....

I like the view on the darkside at times....

and the journey through contemplation is always worth speaking about.
