Weather is perfect for all kinds of activities indoor and outdoor. But catching Salmon running up stream is so exciting . especially when you have one on, and the ensuing fight is unbelievable....minimum weight 25 lbs... hello |

my new favourite thing to do is playing pickleball ....especially within my age group.....the ladies are horrible .....so I get a chance to showboat a bit and end up with their phone number....just so I get to coach em over the phone .....and NO, there is no phone sex going down ......

IMO pickleball is simply tennis with paddles instead of rackets
OT: I've recently rediscovered an old favorite but with a new twist.. peanut brittle with almonds and cashews instead |

OT: I've recently rediscovered an old favorite but with a new twist.. peanut brittle with almonds and cashews instead Pickleball is like table tennis, or ping pong for you North Americans, only thing is you are standing on the table , kinda ....gotta be pretty fit to play..... Another long time favourite is drinking Shandy on very hot days ....its so refreshing ! Cheers !! |

One of my favourite things to do is go kayaking....but of late the Casino calls more often.....not an easy decision to make ... kayaking releases dopamine.. along with other feel-good chemicals like serotonin and endorphins, which can improve mood and reduce stress.. this makes kayaking not only a physical workout but also beneficial for mental health... casino's simply raise your hopes at winning.. but cause stress related anxieties while it empties your bank account.. doing the math? I'd choose kayaking.. just sayin.. |
