I have a 7 yr old Chihuahua. I've been trying to get her to walk on a leash beside me. But she will sit down and not move an inch or she will wiggle out of her collar just to get away from the leash. I've tried bringing out the leash and letting her sniff it. I need help

If she wiggles out of the leash, get one of those harnesses that go around the body. Then get a piece of liverwurst or other treat and use it to encourage her to walk with you. Let her sniff it but don't let her have it until she does what you want.
