Topic: ozempic diabetes and weight loss? | |

Had to get a prior blood test done to see if suitable for it and all good, and there are three phases for me. 4 weeks of .25mg then 4 weeks of .5mg then you go to the 1mg and that's apparently when it all happens.
did the entire .25mg run and nothing of significance to report. currently in phase two now (one dosage thus far) and on two separate occasions i made something with raw sugar added (out of habit) and almost puked after. i can eat sweet grapes other fruits etc all fine but processed sugar gives me tummy nausea and to make it even better is that my sugar cravings have gone... this coming from a guy who has a diehard sweet tooth too. start of covid i was 180cm and 115KG. I am now down to 97KG and hoping to get to 80KG end game before Spring - three months away as i am gonna go surfing again, and do gym again. |

@Sam,
Have you read about the side and long-term effects of Ozempic? |
|

short term yes and vaguely long term.. im hoping to get my weight goal and go down on the mg enough where it keeps my diabetes in check.

Eating a lot of fruit which isn't helping me get into ketosis to speed things up but i am now down to 88KG.
8KG to go for a healthy weight! A gym opened up in my building complex -- its literally 15m walk from my elevator base downstairs. Gonna join my apartment mate and get into it this Monday. It's open 247 so this should be fun :) Only doing this so i can get pumped for starting surfing again this September.. then im just gonna use gym hopefully in winter only; that is, when i am not at the beach. |

Hi Sam, I was 128 kg. I used Ozempic, currently I have 104 +- 3 oscillating, I haven't had any undesirable results. I intend to live at 95 kg, I am 1.88 m.

Nice Airan - did you make any dietary changes since?
Also, do you get full quicker than previously, i do and its like a gastric band has been placed on my stomach. I used to be able to eat a full footlong subway now i can only do half if that. Started gym last week - been twice this far going again tom or friday. |
