true love does exit .but as they say its hard to find,and sometime it's right before us ,but many fail to acknowledge because it comes in the form ,that they are not expecting it to come in,most people are looking for a specific kind of person,and hoping to find true love ....but in reality when it comes to finding true love, you can't be looking for a slim, white,black,old,young..most people confuse finding true love with attraction.and appearance,most time love does not come in the shape colour or form that we expect .moral of the story stop having high expectations when trying to find true love....

I think people are mixing up true love and falling in love. Falling and staying in love takes work, compromise, commitment,etc. True love is ethereal (aka not real): a bond that doesn’t need work. Stuff of legend and romcoms.

I believe what we call true love, is the one that lasts a lifetime. With current divorce rates in the UK at 50%, it's not easy to find a true love these days. It is reported that people who are friends for a good length of time before they marry, have marriages that last. In the 21st Century maybe some people just marry too soon without having that long period of friendship in courtship on the way to a true and lasting love for each other. There is an old saying which I like 'It's not the one you can live with, it's the one you can't live without'.
