I lost my licence for a year too--just for being charged.Even though the state dropped the charge.

Now if this was a discussion about What you SHOULD have been arrested for... I could go on forever LOL

The only comfort I had was they suspended the cop for a year. They should've fired him in my opinion.

Yep got arrested for driving without a license and reckless driving. A city bus hit me, and they said I was speeding. Spent three days in jail, so no big deal.

Lulu...all that en you have a problem with smokers? ok sitting here weighing in the results! Hmmmm.....

although...the majority of that was while i was a teenager.

the dog charge, however...was last year. sort of. the year before, my dog bit another dog...and i received a ticket with four different counts on it. the dog catcher said that if i paid the vet bill, he'd drop it. a month later, my dog got in another fight with the same neighbor's dog...and i received a real ticket, which i paid in full. many months later, i found out that he had never dropped the first offense...even though he said he would.

i therefore went down to the station, got served, and paid the freaking ticket (the majority of which was refunded to me at a later date).

er...the no insurance was SORT of my fault...and was the only other issue i've had as an adult. my husband and i split up, and he dropped me off of the insurance without my knowledge. go figure.

i can't change the past...but i'm a MUCH different person than i used to be.

never...and plan on keeping it that way....did loose my licsence as soon as I got it....

other than that.....i preferr being friends with the cops...

I am not one into getting myself in those kind of situations. En I do have alot of cop/detective friends. There ARE bad cops, however.....like a corporation. No different.

this is true..a few years ago..little ol me confrunted this huge cop for harrassing my son and cuesing at him to boot....

well he got in a bit of trouble....

every time I went in that town...he was on my azzz...he finally quit...and left me alone...he was dieing to ticket me.....

i didn't give him the oppportunity until I was out of his district then I sped up.....lol

I have had that happen. When I first came to the states a cop kept stopping me en giving me warning for ?????what???? Never got that part. Then he showed up at my house en said he stopped by because someone complained about a dog in the neighborhood. I did not have a dog at the time. I called his precinct en they never did anything about it nor followed up with me. But he never showed up or stopped me again, so I imagine they spoke with him.

There is a really cute guy on this site that is with the police force. Possible coffee date? Had to cancel already with him due to my mother being ill.
