I have noticed something about the forums in JSH. There are many people who show no respect especially in the religion forum. I try to live my life with respect for everyone no matter what they say or believe in, but I have multiple threads go up in flames when people could just not respect each other. I am really tired of this. The last time this happened I posted a topic to get some advice and I got told many many time about what a horrible person I am. I was not told this to my face, but it was a generalization about "people like me". Why can't everyone show respect?

I was voicing my opinion and people were posting i was going to hell and ****. I tried to be nice so I just left because I don't like people shoving their beliefs down my throat.

the one thing i learned in my first two weeks here was to stay out of the religious forum it never made sense to me that when people would debate religion that they would get so mean i found that to be rather hypocritical ...jmo

Kris I know you were. What you did was very respectful of other people. But if you checked the post since you have left it was full of people attacking other people. I hope the thread gets shut down.

This is a public forum, you need thicker skin.

I know but being told that you are going to hell from a couple people is not that much fun.

If people are attacking you in the forums, use the report post button and report them for it. They will be dealt with, the administrators don't allow attacking and insulting other members to go on on site. But, if it is not brought to their attention, they won't know about it.

They have worked hard to try to keep this a good place to be. Adding the moderators was another step in that direction. Use the tools that are provided.

if you are being harassed the correct response is to report it. themz da rulz. anyone should be able to post any sincere question and should be able to expect respectful, tolerant and polite responses...

They were basically contradicting what I told them. I don't believe in heaven or hell so I'm going to hell? Yeah don't think so.

try and be nice to everybody i like hearing different piont of views but there are some people the are immature rude and mean on here.

As i see it,Most people here show respect. but boy look out if you disrepect anyone.So cool.thats what i like about the threads.
