I had an awesome evening for News Years while the kids were at their dads, I went to a UNR game, met a friend for dinner, I went to the movies alone Charlie Wilson well done political movie that says a lot. WEnt Ice skating till 11, then watched the big fire work show. Downtown was packed lots of people. I don't know that anyone said Happy New Year, except for a high five from someone.

I felt happy that I conquered the evening alone.... Atlas I awake this morning mad as hell that my kids didn't call, and I'm alone. When they get here tonight should I just pretend that its all fine that they didn't care enough to call?

I called them but there dad said they went to sleep.

not that they shouldn't have called... cause they should've...

but myself, on things like that, i think makeing something out of nothing can just be the path of MORE resistance...

everyone's gunna look at this one diffrently, really it comes down to do you have a point to make? if you do, then yes, bring it up to them, if not... i'd suggest you try to brush it off.

Like i said, that's one you need to figure out.

I say Great Job on making the evening a nice one for YOU. Don't say anything. Guilting them now will do no good. I have to wonder why it is so important they call you.

I didnt call my parents........are they going to hold it against me or will they care about me anyways????? Wow....fukced up priorities.....

Family, consideration... something my family use to do. Where ever we were we use to called... I've tried to do the same. I called they were asleep, they are teens. I am not pissed, just believe family is important enough to call- especially holidays.

With your language I can see that you thought and consideration for others is well mannered.
