You look at someone's profile, see that you would make a GREAT match, but their filtering won't let you message them???

make a fake profile that WILL allow you to message them?

He did look at my profile too, and didn't comment... so maybe I am just grasping at straws here....

i try to add them as friends and send them a message that way..she does the same...she cannot figure out how to undone her blocks..lol..so we chat that way...

It is against site rules to make another profile without deleting your current one and notifying administration.

*shrug* ...i've learned people who aren't interested in me, aren't worth the time and effort anyway..... if he's looked at your profile, then however stupid it MIGHT be, there's a reason ya know.

I hear you.either i have the filter,or they do.It's a bumber.

Send them a friends request or talk to them in forums.
Ask them to e-mail you & thenyou can exchange mail.

I ran into a situation like this once -- this was a few months back -- and I posted about it, and several people actually offered to contact her for me.

If it was someone who posted in the forums, I would probably try to start up a conversation by replying to a post.

And you will occasionally see that in a thread; someone says, "I tried to e-mail you but I'm blocked by your filters." A lot of times, the person will then adjust their filters accordingly, to allow the other person to send the message.

well check your preferences on people who email you too...that might be a cause.... what the intentions are and are not to email someone..check them too!

OK - we are on eachothers friend lists... but I still cannot e-mail him... hmmmmm
