HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Back to the matter at hand... The bottom line is this woman may have tried to deal with your work situation. She may have realized she needed more and pulled out now before she got attached. With your type of job you have to let the woman know up front that you really can't make plans unless you have days off. But you have to use spontaneity and be very creative. Some women require more time, some require less. You need to look for those that require less and can be spontaneous.

Your jobs part of who you are. Both of you need to have a sit down and decide if you are in this for the long haul. If so, try and work it out.

We all have choices, Rick. I used to work those hrs, myself. It is very hard on relationships, meant I had to work harder on the relationship. We went to counseling, when we had problems & got help. Maybe that is a thought. I made my schedule work to let me go, it was that important. More choices for YOU to consider.
