Actually Mimi, The Patriots picked up Chad Jackson (from Florida): He's
6'1 and a 4.3 WR, he was the Highest rated WR in the Draft this year,
but he's been injured too much to contribute... If he can stay healthy
he should be good in the future...

Sluggo, where do you think Calvin Johnson from Georgia Tech is going to
go in the draft? Me and my husband would like to know your thoughts.
Also I would like to know your thoughts on Adrian Peterson out of
Oklahoma and where he might go in the draft. I think he is a DAMN good
running back. I would love to see Johnson on the Pats and Peterson go
to the Colts, but, I doubt that they will make it that far in the draft
though.

Briefly, Colts won't get or Don't need A. Peterson, Joesph Addai is
doing great and if he wasn't splitting carries he'd be blowing away the
Edges numbers (crap, just take Addias & Rhodes numbers, add them up and
then compare them to the Edges numbers: They Blow him away).
Additionally I don't see the Patriots getting the WR either since they
spent last years on this Years highest rated WR.... I'll "TRY" to answer
a guess of where I see Peterson...But personally I like Bush from
Louville, 6'248lbs 4.4 40...damn!!! He's a TD machine...

My hubby said "DAAAAAAAAAAMN" lol, when he saw those numbers. And I
didn't honestly think about Addai, which pisses me off, because I
watched the game where Addai broke out for four touchdowns. And yes the
Pats are pretty damn good with most of whom they have. Where do you
think Calvin Johnson will go?

Well when you look at who might go where you have to look at what teams
suck the most and work your way up. Also keep in mind that Jackson might
not be the 1st WR taken since Dwayne Jarett (from USC) is rating around
the same place as Jackson. The worst teams with a 2-10 record are
Oakland & Detroit and I guarantee you that Brady Quinn doesn't make it
past them (even knowing Oakland was stupid enough to pass on Linart &
Cutler this year) Oakland could take Peterson with an outside chance or
considering that Porter & Moss won't be there next season they could go
for Jackson or. Next are the 3-9 teams Cards & Bucs (cards might grab
Peterson but I doubt it since they over spent on the Edge). The next
worse teams at 4-8 are Texans, Packers, Redskins & Cleveland (personally
I’m thinking Peterson will end up on the Texans and I can see the
Redskins grabbing one of the WR’s), the last group (because I don’t see
any of them lasting past here) are the 5-7 teams Rams, Fins, Vikings,
49’ers, Titans & Steelers.. (Neither of the WRs would make it past the
Vikings or the 49’ers). But since u asked this is just my opinion
(lol…I’ve never attempted this before.. I am in a few Keeper FFL’s and I
normally do REAL good at scouting what players will do good in what
system when the opportunity appears) I hope that satisfies your question
Mimi

Thanks Sluggo. I really want to thank you for taking the time to talk
to me (I know I asked alot of questions and I am sorry for that) but I
really appreciate your insight on everything. You did and have brought
alot of interesting points. And I just wanted to say thanks again. I'm
sure I will talk to you again. I do love my football, lol. Just can't
keep up with it much because every sunday I work from 11am to 11pm so
there is no way I can see games. I am, however, fortunate to have the
NFL Network at the store so I can at least catch an occasional game or
some highlights.

detroits got holes so you never know who'll they take. jake long is
coming out this year and hopefully they can pick him up but i don't
think they'll pass ona QB or a receiver either. kitna ain't doin bad so
i figure a receiver and hopefully top tier left tackle in another round

Either way, I still think the damn Niners need to split out Vernon Davis
as a WR. Did yall see his "blocking"???? He was freakin bull-fightin out
there, not blockin!!! He'd better do good this week, or I'll call him a
bitch as long as he's on the team. He needs to prove to the Niner fans
that he was worthy of getting picked that high, dammit!!

Brady sucks!
so did Montana!
the best in my book was John Elway and the best in the record books was
Dan Morino!

I saw the the Panthers Head coach on a street corner holding up a sign
that said "Will work for Offensive Stratagies"...that guy is clueless

Damn thats harsh man!
I don't think they are out of it yet?

Sorry Fanta, the two most recent losses the team showed zero stratagy on
offence and the team lacked any heart. Stick a fork in them, they are
done!! I hope I'm wrong because I like them though....

Actually fanta, ALL 4 of them are/were great. I bet if the Panthers had
Montana, you'd have liked him!! J/K I think the most under-rated QB is
Trent Dilfer. He won a Super Bowl and was discarded like yesterdays
trash. They haven't been good since, til they got Air McNair of course.

LoL....Fanta, Brady & Montana suck...lmao

Fouts showed no fear and would have set an untouchable yardage marks had
he played in 16 game seasons for his career....

OK, I give up on the Panthers!
This year anyway! LOL
Mange, my team (favorite) is the Dolphins!
Joe Montana was a great come back QB, but he played on one of the
greatest football teams of all time!
OVERRATED!
John Elway played hurt,,,,
carried the team agood team, but undersized!
And he could scramble and run!
To me he is the best of all-time!
followed by Dan Marino....

Honestly, I think all of those QB's belong in a group all by themselves.
All were great in their own ways. As for the Dolphins, they've never
been the same since Marino left. Too big of shoes to fill with everybody
down there wantin to compare the new QB to Marino. It'll be intersting
to see who wants to become the next group of GREAT QB's of this time
era. Brady is already there, and I dont even like the damn Snatchriots,
but he's still a bad mutha!! I REALLY don't have any faith in Aaron
Rodgers ability to be the next QB in Green Bay, and there's a few good
QB's that are on the bench that somebody could snag up, but who do yall
think will come out and want to be in the next elite group???

Vince Young
Matt Linerd

Vince Young is destined to greatness!

If Young can get more reliable receivers, he'll be GREAT in a couple
years, most definitely. Leinart has shown promise, but he needs to get
a reliable RB to take some pressure off him more consistently. I still
think if the Panthers gave LeFlours a shot, he'd be a next "great".
