Having just recently joined this site I see that there seems no point to completing a profile when the suggestions you get for meeting up have no resemblance what so ever to what you are seeking.
This is for age, location, interest etc etc I also believe that half the suggestions are not real people !! JUST NO POINT |

You might be right.
If (as you say in your profile) you're only looking for women who live on the southern coast of Spain, you are really narrowing your pool of women to choose from on this site. While it would be nice for us all to have a large selection of potential matches who lived nearby, the fact is there just aren't that many people on here. I hope you find what you're looking for. In the meantime, I hope you'll at least post in the forums with us. Welcome to Mingle!

James, I'd all of given up on this site with all the non-stop fakes.
Then, I found this forum and learned this chat forum is this site's forte. I met someone here over a year ago and we're very happy, just returned from a 7,000 mile commute to see her last week. I suggest, for this site, avoid the temptation to use the "automation" it seems to want you to rely on, instead, chat here, get to know folks. There are a lot of scammers on date sites that use messaging and chat to gain trust, instead use this forum to meet folks. |

I get that about the closeness of high schools etc. BUT my filter is specifically set for MY location.... NOT Columbia, Texas, Arizona, Holland etc etc AND also the age is specifically set and I am getting replies from so called members who have only just learned to walk...... This cannot be right??
The filtering is a con and I believe that a high percentage of faces on here are fake. Indeed I have seen the same photo with three different names and profiles. Who ever is monitoring this site should seek other employment because they are useless here !! I believe I have wasted my time and money |

I don’t see that you have done that nor do I see anywhere in your profile you stating your preferred age criteria. If you click on this link https://mingle2.com/inbox/filters you can set it up yourself. My guess is you have only set your criteria in your own search field which means that anybody from anywhere can still contact you. Hope this helps. |
